Meet Ian Lay

Ian Lay is an Accounting Manager at New Republic Bank.  In this role he is involved in both accounting and finance initiatives.

 

Ian exhibits broad experience in financial accounting for alternative investments. He was previously employed at Credit Suisse with the alternative investments accounting team. There he assisted with private equity fund consolidation and regulatory reporting, and also with the investment banking and capital markets divisional finance team where he assisted with FP&A activities. He was also previously employed with PwC, providing audit services to private equity firms in New York.

 

Ian received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and earned his master’s in accounting from the Kenan-Flagler Business School, also at the University of North Carolina.

 

Outside of work, Ian enjoys being outdoors, playing tennis, golf, basketball, or rock climbing.
